The blood pressure clinics will be open for free blood pressure checks by our wonderful volunteers after all Masses on the weekends of : High blood pressure is called the “Silent Killer” because it has no symptoms you can feel. The only way to find out if your blood pressure is too high is to have it checked. The machines in stores are not always calibrated and can’t be counted on to give accurate results. The best “machine” to listen for your blood pressure is still the human ear. The Lord calls us to reverence our bodies and care for them as we would care for his tabernacle – our bodies are the “containers’ of the Holy Spirit in this world. Come and have your blood pressure checked. Its free and is offered to all parishioners and visitors.
